I went to TD Bank (Pacific Mall) yesterday (April 21). After I got on my MDX, I called Chris and asked whether he wanted coffee or not. During my call with Chris, I saw a European guy came in front of my car with a white jacket and Gucci messenger bag (small one)...Actually, that guy didn't attract me, but his Gucci bag, since it is fake...
I drove all the way to Second Cup on Steeles and Laureleaf (West of Leslie) and bought coffee...After I got back to my car, the light of tire pressure was up, showing something wrong with the rear passenger side tire. I thought maybe the tire pressure are not so balance and since it's close to my house, I thought I could get back home and asked Chris to fix it. I kept on driving until I heard the noise from tie. I was afraid that I would damage the tire rim, so I stopped in the parking lot of Gibson Long Term Care Centre (Leslies + Steeles south west corner)...I got out the car, took a look at the tire and got back to the car quickly. I called Chris and let him know what happened...
When I was talking to Chris, the guy, who I saw out of TD Bank Pacific Mall (in white and with a fake Gucci messenger bag), knocked on my car window and pointing to my flat tire...I was so scare and told Chris I recognized that guy, I saw him in Pacific Mall parking...Chris told me to knock my doors and not to get off car...the guy hadn't given up right away, but kept knocking my window...I don't know how long, he just walked away to the rear parking area of the retirement home...
I don't know whether this is just a coincident or he was actually following me. Maybe he just came to visit someone in the retirement home, but how can he didn't walk into the retirement home, but to the rear parking area? And it's impossible that he already visited someone and walked out from retirement home, since the timing wasn't right...ok, even yes, he did. But how come he knew my car has a flat tire?...
After I called the auto club company for help, I called Pacific Mall security department and let them know what happened to me. They said they would keep eyes on...After I got home, I mentioned this to my neighbour, you know what? They heard from FM88.9/AM1430, an old couple was robbed in front of their apartment after they got back from the bank. Even they noticed there was a car following them, so they drove all the way back to home without stopping. However when they got off the car, a knife was waiting for them...
Compare to the couple, I was lucky! But I still need to pay $900 to change my tires ...
I hope this will never happen to you, but please keep in mind, don't get off your car if a stranger knocks on your car window and tries to tell you anything...you better call friends or family come to help....
